Things to Fix Before Letting a Search Engineer Review Your Website at a Webmaster Conference

Good guidelines to follow even if you’re not in front of 2,000. Most are basic but still are overlooked. OUch those belly laughs had to hurt.
I wish I had read your post before they reviewed my site! I was the chiropractic site owner that got reviewed. My favorite comment was when I believe it was Danny Sulivan who said, -paraphrasing from memory- “Well..if you want to be number one in Google for San Diego Chiropractic, you might want to have that phrase on your site.”
I would have laughed much harder, but the pain was far too great!

I value all points mentioned and will definately bookmark this article for further study of my own website weaknesses.
One particular weakness that I know existing is that the menu of my site does not display in all browsers in the same way.
Unique content can be added via RSS feeds and Articles written by oneself.
Re coding I take a pride in getting my coding compliant in the belief that it will help my site in the search engine listings, but am always in doubt about this especially as Google themselves do not seem too care about this.
